JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title: Rental Delivery Technician

Reports To:  Mountain Direct Delivery Manager

Department: Retail/Rentals

Classification: Seasonal FT/PT

FLSA: Non-Exempt

 

 

GENERAL PURPOSE:

To work with Mountain Direct Rental Delivery guests to provide an exceptional & efficient rental experience within the guests place of residence.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide consistent exceptional customer service.
  • End of day accounting reconciliation.
  • Assist Rental delivery manager in maintaining reservations, rentals, returns, van maintenance.
  • Work with Product Sales and Service, Mountain Sports School, and FNB to provide the best guest experience for rental delivery.
  • Assist guests through the Mountain Direct delivery rental process, focusing on the guest experience and efficiency of rental time
  • Properly utilize the RTP rental system to ensure all equipment is correctly checked out and checked in when returned
  • Work with the Rental Delivery Manager to analyze and reach goals on flow efficiency & rental form time
  • Offer every guest the following components- damage waiver, helmets, ski storage/basket check, boot heaters & demo upgrades
  • Consistently monitor the guest flow and work with the Rental Delivery Manager to expedite the rental process and its logistics
  • Understand and communicate the rental & demo equipment packages and features to ensure the best match for the guests
  • Ensure all equipment is returned efficiently and properly in the RTP rental system
  • Adjust bindings to fit renters' characteristics
  • Work with Rental Leads, the Rental Manager and the Repair staff to ensure the highest level of equipment maintenance
  • Work with Rental Delivery Manager to maintain Rental delivery presentation standards
  • Cross-train with the Rental Cashiers, Ski Check/Basket Check & all Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) retail operations.
  • Work with Rental Delivery Manager to obtain all Binding Manufacturers’ Certifications
  • Present yourself as a JHMR ambassador by engaging the guests and providing resort-wide information

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain cleanliness of van and back operating space.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY:

  • Basic knowledge of the ski/snowboard industry and JHMR
  • Basic knowledge of rental delivery operations
  • Outgoing personality

 

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:

  • None

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Rental/retail experience-preferred
