Description

The Outlet Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverage items for both guests and beverage servers in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.  He/she is also responsible for maintaining the beverage par levels throughout daily requisitions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.

  2. Maintain regular attendance with The Peaks Resort & Spa standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

  3. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing proper uniform and nametag when working.

  4. Comply at all times with The Peaks Resort & Spa standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

  5. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.

  6. Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers and other employees.

  7. Keep all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current meal period.

  8. Keep all tables cleaned and properly set according to specific standards.

  9. Break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish room area according to established standards.

  10. Assist servers by delivering and refilling beverages, pre-bussing tables, and promptly resolving any guest requests.

  11. Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side-work checklist

Minimum 1 year bartender or 2 years barback in major industry city and/or high volume.

1 season bartender on a Mountain Bar will be considered.
