  • The budgeted range starts at $15.00 - $20.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:

The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for directing the day-to-day routine work of a larger group of associates, or is a key holder in a smaller store. Responsible for maintaining business standards and has increased decision-making authority, acts as manager-on-duty in absence of other management presence. Also fulfills day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill manager-on-duty responsibilities in all areas of the business when scheduled
  • Assist Store Manager in maintaining and coordinating operational expectations by following company policies and guidelines
  • Maintain and model high retail, merchandising and cleanliness standards as set forth by the Store and Regional Manager
  • Manage the team, delegate projects, and complete checklists and tasks
  • Assist Store Manager to ensure sales are generated while demonstrating and maintaining an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest service
  • Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
  • Assist Store Manager in monitoring and controlling daily operational budgets, including payroll
  • Assist Store Manager in recruiting and maintaining a quality core staff
  • Assist in onboarding and training of new employees in POS, product knowledge, guest service
  • Assist Store Manager in communicating company values and goals to the employees
  • Lead inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
  • Enforce company cash handling and other loss prevention policies and procedures
  • Remain current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products
  • Be upbeat, motivated, take initiative, and possess the ability to multi-task
  • Communicate ideas or issues with the store manager
  • Generate Sales, demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:


  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends


  • 2 years of retail sales
  • Supervisory experience in a retail environment
  • Basic computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with retail POS system

The budgeted range starts at $15.00 - $20.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
