Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting and coordinating the financial process for Grand Teton Lodge Company, Flagg Ranch Company and Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis. Manage the capital process including budgeting, forecast, and accurate close out reporting. Supervises the retail accountant along with the seasonal warehouse manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly close process including analyzing financials, preparing journal entries and providing insights into variances
  • Prepare annual operating budgets in conjunction with department managers
  • Prepare monthly forecasts
  • Prepare capital forecasts and budgets
  • Ensure timely close out of capital projects and accurate National Park Service reporting
  • Provide business support and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports to managers, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Manage Retail Accountant
  • Manage, train, and supervise seasonal warehouse staff
  • Maintain a constructive working relationship with department managers
  • Performs other duties as requested by management

Job Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree—Preferred
  • Business and Accounting related coursework—Preferred
  • Previous accounting/finance experience—Required
  • Hospitality Experience-Preferred
  • InfoGenesis Knowledge—Preferred
  • Visual One Lodging System—Preferred
  • Planful-Preferred
  • Peoplesoft Financials-Preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office Knowledge—Required
  • Well organized, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently with moderate supervision; must be self-motivated and able to prioritize effectively
  • Flexible, versatile and a fast learner, able to adapt quickly and maintain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with internal and external guests, clients, partners, and associates at all levels
