The Accounts Receivable team lead is responsible for identifying and resolving payment application of accounts, performing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries, and supporting the accounts receivable staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help maintain VRI and SOX compliance as it relates to Accounts Receivables and operational functions
  • Provide support to Lift, Group, Wholesale, Master Account, General Accounts Receivables when there are problems, questions, or emergencies
  • Mentor and train accounts receivable staff, become first resource for questions and concerns
  • Identify and resolve payment application issues including the development of cash processes
  • Collaborate with the Line of Business to brainstorm process efficiencies
  • Post Accounts Receivable systematic errors when they are in error
  • Perform monthly journal entries and account reconciliations pertaining to the Accounts Receivable process to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the financials
  • Manage and ensure POS’s Locations are closed and in balance at the end of the month for proper revenue reporting, make journal entry if necessary
  • Assist with line of business training as necessary
  • Provide AdHoc support to Accounts Receivable Manager.
  • Assist with aging calls as necessary
  • Additional projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree - Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Two years accounting experience
  • Moderate to Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with or knowledge relating to PeopleSoft, RPOS, TREEV
  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable collections
  • SOX experience
